Locking Gas Strut
The locking gas struts Nantai are so-called lockable gas strut.They are used for functions such as adjustments with force assist, damping, as well as variable locking. Heavy flaps and lids can be moved easily and held safely in place.
Locking gas struts feature a special piston/valve system which separates the two pressure chambers in the spring. If the valve is open, locking gas struts provides force support and damping. The linear spring characteristic curve will provide an even increase in force over the entire range of motion. If the valve is closed, the gas struts locks and provides very high resi- stance to any motion. Primary application areas for locking gas struts are furniture manufacture, medical technology, building technology, aviation and aeronautics, ship building, automotive design, and many industrial applications.
Locking Gas Strut Advantages and properties:
